The challenge of the week is to draw your own sugar skulls! For Dias de los muertos.
What is Dias de los Muertos? '
Dias de los Muertos or in English day of the dead, is a celebration from Mexico. But it soon to be celebrated throughout Latin America that celebrate their past love ones. Dias de los muertos starts on November 1st and 2nd, but in some countries starts on the 1st to the 6th or 7th.
Dias de los Muertos is the day to remember past love ones in a very lively event.
"Assured that the dead would be insulted by mourning or sadness, Día de los Muertos celebrates the lives of the deceased with food, drink, parties, and activities the dead enjoyed in life"- National Geographic
People celebrate Dias de los muertos with parades, giving offerings to the dead like food or sugar skulls, dance, music, and parties. Families will also make an ofrenda of their love ones by placing candles, food offerings, sugar skulls, and pictures of their past relatives.

The challenge
Even Though dia los muertos has past I thought it will be a fun way to see how everyone
creative minds can do with this challenge. So here the challenge you are going to draw a sugar skull and have fun with designing the skull. here a quick tutorial of how to draw a basic skull. If you need some inspiration it good to look at google
Feeling the heat
If your feeling the heat your in luck! for the sugar skull you have created you can make a half and half face of the sugar skull you made and a character you make that match your skull here some examples. Note that your skulls don't have to be base on a character in a tv show or movie. you make your own character.
